Admission Process

Joining the guests at Christmas Creek Village Retreat for the Gifted or Ranch Program is a privilege, an honor, and an exciting event for every one at Christmas Creek Village. Each guest is carefully selected from a broad range of applicants. The Program does not discriminate, and thoroughly reviews the application, academic, medical and other pertinent records of each potential guest. The goal of the Admission Department is to review each detail to establish a good match between the needs of the guests and the goals of the Program. In order to facilitate a good match decision for the guest, family, Ranch and Retreat Staff, each step of the admission process serves to help evaluate the appropriateness of the match.

The Admission process is as follows:

1. Preliminary telephone interview with Administrative Staff THEN
2. If both the Admission Team and guest/family assess a potential match THEN
3. Preliminary Application, Timeline & Overview (Application Fee of $150.00) THEN
4. After review of Preliminary Application and telephone visit (if needed for additional questions), if both Admission Team and guest/family assess a potential match & staff THEN
5. Application for Admission, Educational & Medical Forms, Disclosure Authorizations & admission documents (Admission Processing Fee of $2500.00)THEN
6. After review, if both Admission Team and guest/family assess a possible match, schedule Admission Evaluation w/ Staff Clinical Advisor or physicianTHENPreliminary Admission Approval & staff scheduling of Admission Evaluation with guest
7. (and family if applicable) THEN
8. Financial Agreements and Funds review and processing with Accounting THEN
9. Admission Evaluation with Staff Clinical Advisor or physician THEN
10. Admission Tour of Ranch & Facilities & Admission in Arkansas
