Introduction

In 1995, Dr. Frank Minirth was named as one of the forty milestones in Christian retailing. An article from the Christian Retailing Journal form January 1995 states, “What James Dobson became to the Christian family, Frank Minirth became to Christian counseling.”

The quote has proven the test of time as Dr. Minirth has achieved significant accomplishments in every area related to the Christian counseling field. A nationally known psychiatrist, Dr. Minirth directs the Minirth Clinic in Dallas, Texas which provides treatment for an average of 200 clients per day. Known for it’s warm and friendly atmosphere, The Minirth Clinic continues to have a profound impact in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. It’s well known and exceptionally strong reputation attracts patients of all ages to care for by one of the Clinic’s thirty professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, licensed professional counselors, and social workers.

Dr. Minirth has Christian in-patient groups at Denton Behavioral Health Hospital in Denton and El Paso, Texas.

The Minirth Christian Program is a Christian treatment program that is non-denominational. The program respects and strengthens the spiritual beliefs and practices of the Christian patient, family, church, and community. This approach is based on the biblical taught that God created each person for health and fulfillment of spirit, mind and body.
