Scholarship FAQ’s
Q: What type of Scholarships are awarded?
A: There are five types of Scholarships:
- Ministerial Scholarship, for families with immediate family members involved in a ministerial capacity, or studying for the ministry.
- Professional Scholarship, for families with immediate family members involved in a service orientated profession, such as teachers, doctors, nonprofit organizations, etc.
- Adopted Scholarship, for families with one of the following family members who are adopted: mother, father, child.
- Twin Scholarship, or other multiple birth, for families with multiple birth children.
- Student Scholarship, for families whose adult child is a student suffering a crisis situation.
Q: What qualifies as “immediate family”?
A: Immediate family is father, mother, sibling family, step-parents, grandparents, and father/mother siblings.
Q: How are Scholarships awarded?
A: Scholarships are awarded based on financial need for those qualifying in a specific scholarship area.
Q: What kind of paperwork is required to apply for a Scholarship Award?
A: A Scholarship Application and Personal Financial Statement for the family is required to apply for Scholarship Award
Q: How do I get Scholarship paperwork?
A: Families may request Scholarship information and paperwork from the Admissions Team.
Q: Once we turn in paperwork how long does it take to receive Scholarship Awards?
A: For new applicants to the Program, Scholarship Awards take 2-5 days to process. For those already in the Program, Scholarship Announcements are provided once a month.
